Our Story
For 17 years, the team behind HNG has designed and built homes where every wall, window and doorway is placed with intent.
As the construction wing of Doric Villa Engineering Consultancy, known for preparing Detailed Project Reports for bridges, roads, parks and public buildings for government bodies, HNG brings the same engineering rigour to homes, villas, hotels, resorts, schools, shopping malls and commercial buildings.
Our architects, engineers and environmental specialists work as one team, from the first sketch to the final handover.
Our Approach
We orient each building for daylight and cross-ventilation, specify local and durable materials, and plan for rainwater, insulation and solar where they make sense. The result is green building in Nepal that is comfortable in every season and cheaper to run for decades.
Vastu is built into our plans from the first sketch, never added afterwards. Orientation, entrances, the kitchen, puja room, bedrooms and staircases are placed with care, and we explain every decision so you understand your home.
Our structural engineer designs to the Nepal National Building Code’s seismic requirements, our geotechnical engineer studies the ground, and our Construction Lead checks the work against the drawings at every stage, before it is covered up.
The Doric Villa Connection
Doric Villa Engineering Consultancy was registered in Kathmandu in 2009 to serve Nepal’s public sector. HNG was created as its private-sector wing, so homeowners and businesses can draw on the same engineers, the same standards and the same attention to detail.

CEO & Founder
Deepak brings more than 16 years of experience in architectural and engineering consulting and construction. He leads design, quality control, procurement and project management, and has worked with national and international organisations across Nepal.
Construction Lead
A civil engineer by background, Nirmal has more than 40 years of experience in construction and has led and owned construction companies. He oversees our sites, workmanship and build quality.
Architect
With more than 8 years as an architect, Ishara has designed institutional buildings, government projects and private residences. She leads our architectural design, from first concept to working drawings.
Structural Engineer
Puja holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an M.Sc. in Engineering. With 8 years in structural analysis and design, she makes sure every building we design is safe, resilient and ready for earthquakes.
Civil Engineer
Sushant is a civil engineer with more than 10 years of experience, including international projects. He coordinates design and site work so that every project is built to the drawings, on time and on budget.
Geotechnical Engineer
Sumit is a geotechnical engineer with more than 10 years of experience in soil investigation, slope stability and foundation design. His site studies make sure every building starts on firm ground, from valley floors to hillside plots.
Environmentalist
Samjhana holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science and has 4 years of experience as an environmentalist, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE). She guides the sustainable side of our designs: site, daylight, ventilation, materials and energy.
